so I started listening to podcasts a lot lately, its hard to find new interesting ones, I would like to hear if any of you ladies have suggestions on some good ones.  I started listening to loveline with dr. Drew and Adam corolla, stuff you should know, the bailey jay show and I tried a few pilots of other stuff nothing to great.

I love podcasts!  I listen on the way to work.  My 3 faves are Throwing Shade, Judge John Hodgman, and The Morning Stream.  Very funny.  Many more great ones if you want to know them :).

Transition Transmission is my favorite trans* podcast.

For all the others, I enjoy Nerdist, Hollywood Babble On, Sex Nerd Sandra, and various news and tech podcasts.

I'm resurrecting this topic. I'm like a necromancer. And I'm doing it because I love podcasts, and want to talk about them.

So, here's my list of podcasts I've been listening to recently:
1) Trans-Ponder
2) Miss Gender
3) The Atheist Experience
4) The Mystery Show
5) Serial
6) Writing Excuses
7) The Non-Prophets
8) The Worst Idea of All Time
9) Welcome to Nightvale
10) Watch Out for Fireballs
11) Retronauts

The first two are the best Trans related podcasts I've found so far. Two of the others are run by the Atheist Community of Austin (TAE and The Non-Prophets), and are always good for a listen if you're of the non-spiritual ilk. Serial and Mystery Show are famous enough to stand without my recommendation. Writing Excuses is a short, 15-minute weekly about writing genre fiction. The Worst Idea of All Time is two Kiwi comedians watching and reviewing terrible movies once a week for a year (Year 1 was Grown Ups 2 and Year 2 is Sex and the City 2). WOFF and Retronauts are retro video game casts, WOFF tends to be longer form with a focus on a single game, and Retronauts tends to be shorter and more widely foucsed. Welcome to Nightvale is a weird horror/humor scripted show that inspired my name.

All are great listens, and I hope I can find more podcasts via my resurrection of this thread.
