'(West Palm Beach, Florida) The Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners has directed staff to draft language amending two county ordinances to protect the rights of transgendered persons.

..."Palm Beach County provides protection of discrimination based pn such diverse categories as race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, marital status, and sexual orientation", said civil rights attorney Rand Hoch, President and Founder of the Palm Beach County Human Rights Council. "People who do not fit society's stereotypes of masculinity and femininity deserve the same protections."'
