So considering my assigned name is Melody, I was just going to go with 'Mel' since it's comfortable and easy for everyone else... bad reasoning I guess but I don't dislike Mel...
Now over the last couple days, like looking on here and seeing name things, and today my mom asking me if I wanted to change my name or if I was fine with Mel, I think I'm changing it. I asked her what she would have named one of us 'girls' (I have 2 sisters) if one of us was a boy and she said Ryan or Caleb, neither of which fit me.
So I did some baby book searching, wanting to stick with an 'M' name originally, contemplated Micah, and found a few others I liked...
And then one just hit me that I think I really like, but I'm going to have to think it over for awhile before I use it for certain, but I think I might change it to Colin! I love that name a lot, and my middle name is also SUPER feminine, so I'm thinking I might change my middle name to my mother's maiden name, which, all in all, makes my full name sound really nice and almost stylish lol
But man. Colin... seeing the name I just got that 'click' that was like... THAT name I can picture for myself!! I'm really excited. My friend likes the name, too... we'll see who all is against it, though =P
