Since my mom did not approve of the last gender therapist so willing to OK me for HRT so quickly, she set me up with a new one. I didn't mind, since I liked her. She sounded knowledgable about trans people, and she recently became interested in people with Asperger's Syndrome, and she said she was interested in my case.

She sounded like she really believed I was trans, unlike my mom and sister who think this whole thing is a phase or some form of overcompensation. She promised to help me out with my anxiety and panic issues as well, so that's another good thing. She had a cute dog in therapy with us named Alvin, who reminded me of my dog Chessie at home ^^.

My next appointment is next week, and I'm looking forward to it. It's getting a little annoying telling ALL these therapists my story and I felt drained just covering half of it in today's session... Why are you here, tell me about yourself, talk about this, that, the other thing, etc. I felt like I needed a nap at one point.

I am glad the ball is rolling again, though. I just wish there was a less repetitive way to go about the appointments.
