A 45-year-old Omaha, Nebraska man is facing hate crime charges after he burst into a women's rest room in a nightclub and brutally attacked a trans woman.

According to Omaha.com, Stephen E. Thompson was arraigned in Douglas County Court on Monday morning on third-degree assault charges that are being prosecuted as a felony hate crime.

That hurts. I used to live in Omaha 14 years ago. There were plenty of progressive things there but there are also plenty of stupid people too. I really hate that hate crap. I hope she is okay and I hope she sues that @$$#01€.

Lawmakers try to pass laws because they don't want trans women using the women's restroom, claiming we will assault cisgender women. Meanwhile a cisgender man invades the women's restroom to attack a trans woman.
