Hi Everyone!

I've newly begun to accept myself as a transgender woman. I'm out to my wife who is super supportive (yay!) and working on being able to come out to other people.

I had my first RLE today, went out in a pair of women's jeans and a cute top to get my hair done and eyebrows waxed (ouch, but not as bad as I expected). Tomorrow I have an appointment for a custom makeover from Sephora. The salon was just down the road and several neighbors saw me and didn't make a fuss, so that's good.

I'm 32, and have known about my gender since I was 8.

I've been lurking here for a while. I love how supportive and insightful everyone is. Now that I'm learning to accept myself, I thought I would participate as well.

Nice to meet you all!

Hi Allison, welcome to Susan's. It's wonderful that your wife is supportive. My first makeover experience was at Sephoria. You will enjoy it. I look forward to seeing you around the forums. Good luck and Hugs

Thanks everyone!

Just wanted to say that Sephora was amazing! The employees were fantastic, kept telling me how cute I looked, which felt really good. Then I spent way too much on product (oops).
