Hey guys! I'm Naomi.

Basically, I'm considering an orchiectomy rather than SRS, but I had a concern. I have a very accepting girlfriend, and will I still be able to get an erection and participate in intercourse after an orchiectomy?

Thanks

-Naomi

You won't have testosterone in your system (or at least, no where near as much as currently). Testosterone is a driving force behind libido. Doesn't mean you won't be able to get it up but it may take more encouragement to get there. As with all things your milage may vary - some will have no loss of function but some will have total loss.

Mrs Grace is correct.  Your Dr can prescribe you viagra to help the issue, but sex may not be the same.  For me after 2 years of orchi, nothing comes out, but the sex has changed.  Oh, you may still loving having sex with your girlfriend, but it may be different;)  you may in time seek other methods of having an orgasm, not saying it's bad;)  if you find it, it may be better than you could have ever imagined.  You may wanna try to reach this state before orchi to know you will be ok with it, or take your chances often you orchi that you may find your pleasure again.  There will be no mental push for sex like there is a push to breathe, so you can enjoy it more after the orchi;)

I'll be honest, these sorts of comments always make me scratch my head and wonder.. While I haven't had an orchi, my T levels are lower than most cis women and I still have a quite active libido..

100% agree kelly

ever since I can remember, I've heard that the brain is the biggest sexual organ we've got.

I never had an "orchi" myself, but SRS at 21, these days my sex drive is higher than it ever was, but it can be controlled.

A lot of transwomen IMO seem to hate their male bits so much that the thought of anything sexual with them makes them sick, when they start HRT they keep to push sexual thoughts down and away and it gets to the stage its so used to being pushed away that it goes away and dies altogether.

As for the OP, it might change the way you and your girlfriend get in the mood, but it will be there, you just have to find the trick to unlocking it
