So my old gc2b binder has gotten loved and worn so much that it's seams have pretty much fallen apart. They started to rip when I first got it thanks to my shoulders, and it took them maybe 6 months to fall apart so much that it's starting to get awkward to wear. So I ordered a new one, it's still my favorite binder on the market.

I've been pleasantly surprised that it looks like they reinforced the seams, particularly in those areas where my old one started to pop. The seams are thicker and look much stronger, and this binder's seams don't creak or anything when I put it on, unlike my previous one. I of course just got it and can't speak for how much stronger they are, but they've definitely done something to try to fix the longevity issues.

So if you wanted to try GC2B but was worried about durability, it may be worth it to order one now, looks like it'll last much longer.

I got mine about six to eight weeks ago, and I never had the initial seam problems that you and a couple other people described. I thought it was that mine wasn't as tight, but maybe it's actually a product improvement. Mine have shown zero wear so far,  including all seams, wearing every day. I also love this binder, and never have any discomfort from it. The only disadvantage is that I no longer get that awesome relief after taking it off at the end of the day. Though I do wish the neckline were a little lower, it's a small price to pay.

I bought mine two months ago, and the seam on mine seems sturdy but is itchy sometimes. I think it's gotten better after sweating in it and washing it a few times now (it's only for workouts), 'cuz I haven't noticed any irritation from the seams the past few wears. I could never wear my binder for the long hours and many days that most people wear them, so I won't really be able to say how well it could hold up to daily wear. But just from the way it's made, it certainly seems very sturdy. Definitely glad this is the binder I went with!
