Recently watched fab trans romance movie "Boy meets girl" and figured I would search to see if there were any similar stories in novel form. Any suggestions? All I can find so far is floods of transgender themed erotica, definitely not what I am looking for ><

My personal favorite is 'GEORGE'. It's a book written by Alex Gina.

It is basically a middle grade novel about a transgender fourth grader who dreams of playing Charlotte in the school production of Charlotte's Web. This book is humorous, heartbreaking and hopeful. It made me laugh, cry and cheer, from the start to the end of the story which is around 240 pages long.

I'm not the thread creator but this book sounds wonderful. Will pick it up, thanks :)
