Logo design?

A friend of mine is a therapist who does a lot of work with trans* people.  She is looking for a graphic designer to design a logo for her practice and would lie it if she could give the work to someone trans* identified due to the lack of jobs available to trans* people.  Does anyone have any referral ideas?
