Dr. Cardenas in Mex. for FFS

New Here & Hi to All:

I've read the the various threads here about Dr. Cardenas and continue to browse.  I live in Los Angeles and had my SRS here by Dr Alter (2004).  I've consulted with two physicians here, one in Thailand and have sent pics to Dr. Cardenas and am waiting.  I'm inclined to do FFS and voice here in LA but Cardenas offers an attractive price and seems to have a good reputation.  I'm older than most so I'm partly doing the age thing but am sure FFS would be a nice a touch.  I'm 15+ years post-transition and quite public professionally and socially, so I'm past the self-consciousness of how I present, but hey, one can never look too good     

Does anyone have something new to add the conversation about Dr. Cardenas?  Any and all input is truly appreciated . . .

Dr Sherman Leis near Philadelphia did my FFS last year. He is a wizard! I am delighted. And he is half the price of the others (my brow, nose, lip, chin, and trachea were $23k).

Don't be fooled, Dr Leis has helped invent a lot of these techniques and is a professor at university of Pennsylvania. He lectures on this topic in Switzerland each year and a doctor from Brazil came to my surgery to observe and learn. Dr Leis was awesome for me. Highly recommended.
