HRT Question

Hello,

I'm a 17 year old trans woman. If you haven't had facial hair growth before you take HRT, is it prevented from growing or does it grow anyways??

I'm so upset I need anti androgens now but nobody wants to give them to me without both parents permission. This is so hard for me I really need the HRT now. It feels like my life depends on it and all the medical professionals just dont believe me or care. I've decided im going to get it online but i dont have the money yet I'm saving up. I dont have a job i never get a call back after the interview and I'm sure its because I'm trans lol im really upset right now y'all i wanna die

If you get on HRT before the beard growth starts it will not grow back later unless you stop HRT. At 17 you can get HRT with your parents consent. Otherwise you'll have to wait till your 18 which isn't that long. If you do start any beard growth between now and then it will be very minimal and easy to be removed.

I dont want to have to get electrolysis though it makes me feel bad. i want to have a normal womans face with a little bit of peach fuzz not completely hairless skin is that what electrolysis does? does it kill the entire hair or just make it light again?? thank you for the help and sorry im not writing well im just so sad rn

Electrolysis gets rid of beard hair permanently regardless of color. Everyone (cis women or trans after completed electrolysis) has a tad of vellus (peach fuzz) hair in the face.

Electrolysis only goes after the corse hair and the fine hair they leave alone. I have been clean for years only needing to deal with about a dozen hair that managed to escape the death sentence. Have the peach fuzz that you desire all over my face but it's never long enough to require any care.
