Hi,

I've been going 3 years. I'm really only now getting into a hard slog. This year has been horendous. I've been sexual assaulted, villified where I live and now vilified at my college.

I'm at my wits end.

Hello and welcome.

Well sometimes its a time when things come to the surface...
you might think about positive things, and how you can reinforce them...
and let go of fears... try to mentally come to a place where you feel safe and secure... just close your eyes and try to relax... maybe think of some nice memories...

Sometimes transgender people try to read others unconscious expectations.
Just be yourself. Try to keep to what you feel within gives you joy.
Try to relax.
It will get better.

If you feel like it there are helplines.
They also have a chat.

Big, really big hugs

And big, big warm welcome to Susan's.

I am so sorry that those terrible and horrifying things have occurred and disrupted/disrupting your life.

Is there anywhere you can relocate to?
Do your parents know?

Have you talked to the law enforcement about the attacks both physical and verbally? You should if you have not.

Anyway you have friends and support here, we feel for you and want... wish that you can get yourself out of such a toxic environment.

Lots of love Katy  :-*

Hi Katy and thanks.

I moved but now the new neighbor has a bee in her bonnet and stirred up her family and notified the other neighbors.

It never ends.

when I reported sexual assault, the cops laughed at me and treated me like a bloke who should just get over it. I don't know why a bloke shouldn't be protected from sexual assault by the law either btw.

so yeah, that's the state I live in

Hi. I'm glad you found us. No one should have to go through what you are alone. People can be cruel sometimes, and if a situation arises that they don't understand or seems strange, they will often react with anger.

That isn't an excuse for their behavior, just an observation. There are some people who will never come to understand us no matter what the literature says or what they have heard in a positive light. Hang in there and come to the forum when you need help.

If you live in the United States, that shouldn't be happening and if you chose to, you can report it to you state's law enforcement and they will come down hard on the local enforcement. Also colleges in the United States shouldn't behave that way. i can only assume you are in another country where you aren't treated with the respect you deserve.

You are right. It shouldn't matter. Sexual assault is sexual assault. A therapist might be able to help you sort through that and even put you in touch with people who can help. Also some organizations out there maybe able to assist who specialize in protecting your civil liberties. Good luck and Hugs

Honey, many of us are victims of rape and sexual assault. It lingers and hurts for ever. It is very important that you try to get some counselling for this. Being raped is not your fault.

You are innocent. It doesn't matter if you present as male or female. It is not your fault. If you can, seek help from a rape crisis centre.

If you want to talk in private pm or email me. cindy@anzgsg.org
