Hey! I'm a Missourian, but I'm from around the St. Louis area :( . I have been in the same boat where it's difficult to get to a major city to attend a support group. I'm hopeful that I will be able to work something out and go to one a month at least. I hope you find people close to your area.

I love St. Louis, my grandma lives there! And it's definitely not fun being trans in the middle of nowhere. I have started hanging out with a lot of old friends from the gay/ lesbian scene, but it would definitely be nice to find someone who can fully relate, hopefully something will work out for you as well 😀

I am in Missouri but also in the St. Louis area.

Kristen, there is a support group facilitated by MTUG (Metro Trans Umbrella Group) that meets three times a month on Wednesday nights near the city.  It's been a while since I have attended but it is a good place to meet people in the same boat.  The group is fairly diverse.  PM me if you want more details.
