I didn't want to talk about it but here we go...

Ok I've been on T for two weeks and a few days now. When I received my first injection I was in the middle of my period and it ended a day or two later, like normal. Since then I've been exercising and eating ok. Everything has been pretty great actually. I've been giving myself shots weekly subcutaneously and haven't had any problems.

I know your menstruation takes a while to quit, but now I've gotten my period nearly two weeks early. I started to bleed again last night and it was an unpleasant surprise. I tried to look up hormonal causes, and causes in general. Whenever irregular periods are mentioned I can only find info on skipping periods or them taking longer than usual to show up.

That was what I was expecting with my hormonal changes. Not another round so soon. And the only information I could find mentioning more frequent menstruation mention exercising too much, young pubescent girls, and possibly perimenopause. The information on why was greatly lacking however.

I want to make sure this isnt a sudden health issue. Did this happen to any of you guys. If so do you know if it is normal or what would cause it? Should I be concerned?

I had that situation too in my first month of taking T where my time of the month came surprisingly early and two weeks later I had a bit of spotting. The body releases a bit of testosterone during a period so I'm guessing the body is just confused receiving that hormone but don't take my word for it.
I would just keep track if that happens again so you can tell your endo/doctor if it keeps occurring but I know for me I haven't received a period or spotted since almost two months ago.

Hey dude,
It is a lame thing to have to talk about, but alas, you gotta. When I first started T, it was a week before my cycle, so obviously I had one that month. Skip ahead to two weeks after that period, and I was lightly bleeding again. Super, super frustrating and  dysphoria-inducing. This bleeding went on for another two weeks, which was pretty rough on my emotional state because I was finally on T and excited to never have to deal with lady problems. Then it stopped and I've been free from it ever since (knock on wood).

As alarming and concerning as it is, you gotta stop and think about what's going on in your body in terms of hormones and how they literally affect your whole body. Just hang in there for a bit and hopefully it'll be done n' over with sooner than later!

I'll wait it out and see if it's a problem. Hopefully you are right about it just being hormone fluctuation confusing my body and nothing serious. Beside bleeding I feel great. I haven't had cramps or pain which is usually a big issue for me.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe it's my body going through a kind of perimenopause that I read about, and is preparing to shut those facilities down. That would be great. Rather have that, since I hear some folks can bleed for a while before menstruation ceases completely.
