FTM hysto surgery

My BF and I met with the surgeon to schedule his hysto. Aside from a little awkwardness by the receptionist in the OBGYN waiting room, it went great! 

Before going in, I was so worried about surgery.  I am excited for him and this doctor does robotic laparoscopic, so recovery time can be quick. I think waiting for his phallo and the ability to have that extra physical intimacy is going to be harder for me then him. 

I had no preference either way before. In fact I was terrified of bottom surgery. Now I cannot wait!  It makes me feel guilty sometimes because I don't want it to come across like he is inadequate, but I think I'm picking up on his dysphoria....
