Dr. McGinn

I thought I would share my thoughts on Dr. McGinn for MTF surgery, for those that have not decided on a doctor.  We were and are very pleased with Dr. McGinn and her entire office staff.  They have been wonderful. Having the surgery was a great experience, everything has gone very well. The prices are very affordable and the hospital and anaesthesia was negotiated by McGinns office. Dr.McGinn has a great personality/bedside manner and we cannot speak highly enough of her, Brianna and the office staff...Debbie is excellent! We stayed at the Gaia house once leaving the hospital.  Many may not realise that the Gaia is half off for McGinns patients.  Staying at the Gaia house was a calm, pleasant experience to heal in...breakfast in bed was superb.  Staying in New Hope was great, a quaint shopping and dining town! Dr. McGinns office is 5 minutes away and the pharmacy is even closer.  Things were so easy!

Thank you for posting this! I am having SRS with Dr. McGinn in August, and I will be staying at Gaia House, so I am happy to hear your experience was a positive one.

I have met Dr. McGinn only once, at my initial consultation, and I was so nervous because I heard she was brusque, impersonal, and all business.  Happily, I didn't find her that way at all. Yes, she was business-like, but she did joke around a little, and she was completely focused on me as a patient. I liked her very much.  She answered all my questions, even those I asked about Thai surgeons.

How long ago did you have surgery?  How has your recovery been?

Hi Terri,
I just saw your post, I have been so busy lately. My surgery was six months ago. Everything went great and I cannot praise McGinn and her team enough. The experience was so positive and I am very happy with my results in every possible way. You will love the Gaia House, it is so welcoming and convenient and Bill will make breakfast and deliver to your room daily. He also has menus for food delivery in the area. I hope your surgery goes great!
