Though a lot of guys get the sharks gone fast, some of us aren't so lucky--in my case, I'm still fighting them back at 29 weeks (~7 months), though I'm definitely unusual in that. In my case, my GP doesn't check bloodwork unless I specifically ask, so it's been until now that I've been checked, and according to a specialist he called, my levels are probably low. Definitely keep an eye on your levels (as your endo should be doing, of course), and if you're concerned that they might not go away as soon as you'd like, talk to your doctor about progesterone to stop the bleeding (that's what I'm currently doing, until we can nail down my dose). I believe that part can actually be done before you start testosterone, if you're anxious for it to be over with.
As for the worsening, I've not had any of that and I've had it for longer than most guys. It comes out kind of... thinner? Cramping was way less significant than it has been the first few months and is now non-existent. Duration has if anything shortened slightly. One thing I will say is that they've been pretty irregular--I used to be so consistent that I could write a calendar based on it, but now I have practically no warning. Which can be frustrating, considering that each time I think it's finally gone, it comes back a few days later, but I digress.
Congrats on being so close, dude! Hope things go smoothly for ya.
