Hey Everyone,

I'm sure this topic has been open and discussed before but I'm new here lol I have been contemplating FFS, I have been on hormones for exactly a month today  ;D, so far I'm very content with the little results i'm feeling even though I'm on a  very small dosage my body is reacting well guess it was so ready :p

Anyways, I want to get FFS because I feel its been holding me back my whole life its not because I want just to be passable it's that I'm tired of being in the middle between both genders and my confidence is very low right now. Sometimes, I think I'm being very superficial and entitled because I want everything now but I'm just so exhausted, I feel this is the last wall I need to break and I feel if I do the surgery I will have more confidence in myself and therefore get more opportunities. The issue I don't have more than 3k which won't do ->-bleeped-<-, I'm debating between seeing
DR. LAZARO CARDENAS mostly because he is cheap or going to see DR. Jeffrey Spiegel or any of the other FFS surgeons in LA since I live in LA too. The issue is I have no clue where to start paying for all of this.

I can't find a job even though I have a degree and a lot of skills I have been trying so hard for the past 6 years and I have no luck......which is fueling my depression and pessimistic views on this whole thing. I'm wondering if anyone of you have any tips ??? "Please don't say try harder or you can't give up lol no Hallmark card advice :p"

Also, if anyone is here in LA and have dark skin any recommendations for Laser ?

Finding a good job and saving for surgery are both difficult. I wish I knew the answer.

Hi Alexis:

What do you want to do career-wise?  What's your training/education?  As for FFS/HRT/SRS costs, I hear you and it isn't cheap but it's doable with some planning and forbearance.

I'm in LA too . . .  8)

Take good care,

Rachel

Hey Alexi,

I went through about 6 jobs in the past year alone before I found a career path that I finally liked. I went from Asst. manager of a restaurant, to being a phone sales person, to driving for Uber... etc etc. That was mostly out of desperation for finding just a job. But a job is different than a career. When I started applying for jobs that were meaningful to me--I also performed better and liked what I did a lot more, rather than suffer for a good dollar.

Similarly, I also have a B.A., but persistence and focusing in on your passions/interests for work are key elements to finding an employer who can see that value in your work.

As for Laser, I go to this place in Burbank called Flawless Laser center! They have great reviews on yelp, their studio is very clean, the ladies who work there are nice, and they offer coffee/tea in the lobby while you wait. I have a mocha brown complexion and saw results after the second session.

Hope this helped! :)
