Procedure for Changing Your Name on the Forum

Hello All!  Thanks for humoring me!  I still love this site and it's companionship and it' comfort sharing...

By the by, am I really still a "Newbie?"  Since 2018?

I need to confirm that your email is still good and that you are able to receive emails from the site. The username doesn't appear to be in use by anyone. once you confirm, then I will change the first step before the admin completes the second step.  Hugs

I used to be known as Julie-h before the crash but I was discouraged from changing my name to Julie in real life. I was helped in coming up with the name Athena Sophia Katz. If possible I would like to change my forum name to Athena.

By the by, I changed my avatar image to one with my actual face with editing, making me look so much younger and like my mother!  I was shocked when the AI produced this image, but it is how I see myself!  I couldn't wait to share it.  I can't figure out how to change the hair color to match my white though.  I guess I'll have to color it to match in real life
Is that okay for the forum?

Yes, regarding your new Avatar Profile photo, it is amazing how photo editing can make so many changes and improvements...

As a note, you did exactly the correct thing by placing the note below your Avatar that
your photo image was computer enhanced...

Dear Members:
        Procedure for Changing Your Name on the Forum.

First:  You need to let us know what you wish
to change your name to so that we can see if it is available.

Second:  Name changes happen in 2 parts...
...changing your Screen/Display name that is shown above your Avatar profile photo
and changing your LOG IN Member Account name.
      Those TWO names must be the same per our Forum policy.

Once we confirm that your new desired name is available we
can then proceed. 
Note: Please be sure about your new desired name.
We only allow a member name change once or perhaps twice in a year.

You will need to reply and confirm on this topic/thread along
with your name change request that your present E-mail that
you use to log into the Forum is correct. 
      Don't post your E-mail here, keep that confidential.

Before we go any further, please write down my following Email address:
          alaskandanielle@yahoo.com
You will need it in case you have problems logging in once your name
is changed.    If successful you will get an activation Email that will
enable you to log in with your new member account name.
