ThankYou all for the personal life experiences.
I never thought of tucking, I'm petite down bottom, so normally its a non issue.
I'm about to purchase a Gaff, to try the tucking to complete my look when in tight night dresses ( my favorite!).

Exactly.  For our whole lives, we've dealt with shame.  Being transgender has put us in a very, very difficult position.  I'm sick and tired of the shame.   Transgender people have nothing to apologize for.  The rest of society on the other hand should be the ones feeling shame and apologize.

Paige :)

First of all you can't talk for all transgender people, not at all. Actually from a very earlier age I, and alot of transgender people I know, ones who are legit at least, have accepted it from a very early age and just got on with it.

Also what shame are you talking about exactly, you speak as if we are being lynched up in the streets and actually society, apart from the bullies have nothing to be ashamed for. Trans people should be less concerned about ''taking a stand'' and making it sound like a crusade. I am legitimately a girl in a guys body, and all my concern is about fitting in with what I feel, not as a statement, not as a middle finger to society, so please think twice before speaking on behalf of the entire community.

On topic: I can't say I have tried doing what the OP mentioned, of course as a kid I was always confused to as why it was there, but on the same hand I've always seen boys and girls as one of the same so it was never too much of an issue

Hey sport, keep in mind, at the ripe old age of 23, the world you occupy is very different to the one some of the older members here grew up in. There's people here in their 60's+, can you imagine how different life was if you were trans, and 20 years old in 1970?  I'm a decade older than you, and the change in society in just the last 10 years has been dramatic. When I was in high school, there was no such thing as queer support groups, in my city there were no dr's with any experience with hrt. It took me around 8 years of battling to get a prescription.
