Hi! This is my first post, so please bear with me.
I've been feeling kinda alone in this whole thing due to some pretty transphobic family issues and the trans community in my area being pretty much zero.
Anyway, I'm Phoenix. I'm 15. FTM, from Scotland. I like reading and drawing. I have autism.
I've heard about this forum through a few internet searches.
The deal is, I'm sort of shy. But I'd love to make friends in the trans community. Please give me a pm or reply to this thread :3
You are what you love, not who loves you.

Hello and welcome  :)

Well you might contact the mermaids, its a group specifically for transgender youth:
www.mermaidsuk.org.uk
"We offer information, support, friendship and shared experiences.  We give support for individual young people, with or without support from their families, whether they are out or not We will try, where possible, to help their families understand and accept their child's gender identity issue. We will also offer our help to family members, professionals and others who are worried about a child or young person. We will offer our support via telephone, email and snail mail. "

They can be contacted via mail or phone...
you could ask there for more information and support.

There are others near your age in the youth section if you feel more comfortable posting with others your own age.  PMs will not work until you reach 15 post so start the conversation with others and explore the web site. Big warm welcome to Susan's Phoenix

Sorry that you are getting a bit of a hard time from your folks, as far as shyness goes it seems to be a trait with us... certainly I was a wilting wallflower for most of my life, but suddenly you realise you are unique but you have a wonderful story to tell or you can make a change to those around you.

Best wishes fro your future moving forwards, don't be shy here  ;) we are all the same here, we all started off at sometime, and I look forward to seeing you around the forum's
