Hi I'm thinking of arranging ffs with Facial Team in Marbella. I want a guaranteed result and I don't think that's guaranteed with any UK based surgeon. I've not however flow in an awfully long time, and am quite nervous about the journey,(have suffered with panic attacks in the past) especially as it's unlikely anyone will be free for 2 weeks to go with me. Family and friends would probably worry less if I had company or if I was closer to home.

However the rewards are huge, my life would be an awful lot better afterwards,at the moment I feel in a kind of in-between world, where my passability depends on the pose, and that's frankly a horrible way to be living.

They look like a lovely bunch and who would look after me well. I want this so much :) :)

What's the procedure for arranging surgery does anyone know ? (have met them in person)

And has anyone any advice for coping with anxiety?.

Any advice appreciated

Sharon

Hello ,

I am happy for your planned surgery and i am sure you will love the results , they are really good .
I can't say about the procedures but i heard if you use their recovery home you will be looked after and not feel alone . You can overcome that for the chance of an improved life .
Also you can also use Magnesium , Valerian , Passiflora , they help with anxiety while being pretty safe .

I wish you good luck and maybe some Facial Team girls can say about the procedure too .

xoxo

I'm a facial team gal (only 2 weeks postop). I'm already thrilled. I have a thread in this forum you can take a look at. To schedule you just have to email them. Then they'll give you a date and you'll go back and forth till you find one that works.

Also, in terms of anxiety, I would HIGHLY recommend staying at Jenny's Nest then, which is their patient's apartment. It's run by a wonderful trans woman named Jenny, and also at least for when I was there, there was also Nicola (who I adore) helping out. You won't feel alone at Jenny's... Cause you're not. You'd have Jenny (and perhaps Nicola) monitoring your whole recovery and you'd be staying in her villa. You'll also be with other trans girls going through the same thing. I can get neurotic sometimes, and to have someone who has seen thousands of patients come through her walls, and frankly, has seen it all when it comes to recovery, say, 'no, that feeling is normal, you're not dying,' was a big help too haha. If you want the info for the nest usually they'll include it in the info packet from FT once you schedule a date. But if you PM me I can also give you the nest email address. :-)

Hope all that helps!
