At my last therapy session I spoke with my Psychologist about how the other psych she wanted me to see was not taking anyone until next year and I needed a referral to him which I was confident my GP was capable of doing. So she sends me to the clinic that this psych works from part time to see one of the Dr's who knows his "Trans" stuff to write me a referral.

Here in Adelaide I thought there was only one avenue open to Transitioning men and women but after seeing my

Psychologist she has put me on another track which seems to be a bit quicker...it also helps when she is pushing it along.

I had that appointment today and the Dr was really nice. He asked all the obligatory medical questions and about my Dysphoria. So I gave him a brief history of where I started up until present day . Once I had finished he said to me it sounds like something you have told before, so I went on to tell him about my coming out to family and we discussed this for a little while all the time him making notes. he then told me that he thought this should be relatively straight forward unless the Psych finds some underlying illness responsible for it. he felt there was little doubt about wether or not I had gender Dysphoria it was more a matter of my mental health. He said he would ensure that I got to see the Psych as soon as possible.

There is a more than even chance that I could get to see someone very, very soon
