"Note: The following article contains sensitive content that might be triggering for some readers.

A 16-year-old trans youth from Madison, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday after taking his own life. According to an obituary posted to the website of Cress Funeral Service, Skylar Marcus Lee was a junior at Madison West High School who belonged to the school Gay-Straight Alliance and loved ballroom dancing."

This brings tears. I think most, if not all of us have been close to that decision. My wife is Jewish and twice a year they light a candle for those they've lost. This Day of Remembrance I'm seriously considering lighting a jahrzeit candle for each of our sisters and brothers who we've lost to suicide or murder since the previous one. Does anyone know how many it's been? Names would be helpful, too.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

They say the light at the end of the tunnel is an oncoming train. I say, climb aboard!
