So I did all my blood work about a week ago not to sure life has been crazy over here lately with trying to find an apartment and other things, but anyways I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow to go over my blood work, is it normal for them to call you soo soon? I wasn't expecting her to call me I was thinking she would of went over my blood work when she booked me for a physical exam which is on the 15th. I'm trying to stay positive and think eee! this could be when she gives me my prescription for T ( which would be fricken amazing ) but I keep getting anxieties about it as well thinking maybe something is wrong and I can't get on T ..god I don't what I would do if I cant xc

First of all....BATMAN!

I can't relate to your experience, but do know every experience is different. I'm sure that your DR is trying to cover all your bases before you start your T, which is definitely a plus. My circumstances (health wise) wasn't the best when I started T, but my DR and I worked through it and now it's been 7 months on it.

I wouldn't read anything into the discussion on blood work, the actual tests are done within hours of the labs getting the blood, reports are made quickly, after I have blood checks done I can speak with the Dr and go through the results with 2 days of the tests, and if close by walk in :)

If its your first and changes are to be made or you are about to go on HRT/T then its a worthwhile discussion and the sooner the better  ;)

Don't worry...

Heck yeah batman! lol I'm a huge fan of him, comic books figurines movie posters ect ect xD

But anyways so I seen here today, bad news tho..she found that my Pituitary gland levels where high and that she wanted  to do more blood work on me before she can send all the papers to okay me for T. She said she was just worried about me and wanted to make sure I didn't have a tumor or anything which freaked me out totally I kinda wanted to cry. But she also said it could be due to stress which I have been under a lot since I recently moved to a new providence, looking for a place to live, my dysphoria ect ect so I am going to try to reduce my stress and see if it goes down. Also my potassium is low but she said just eat a banana ..ewwww!! but I will do it anyways.

Hi Bat:

Remember, it's a journey.  When I asked to go on HRT I was referred for Celexa to deal with my depression.  I was crushed until a few weeks later on the drug and realized how much lighter life felt.  Some 6 months later I was on HRT.  If there are other health issues, then you will deal with them and it won't be easy necessarily but you will get through it.

Be sure to keep us up updated and to share.  It's good for you and us too!  I'll keep you in my thoughts daily.

Take care and love to you and yours,

Rachel

It's also good news (in a way) that she was able to find that out. Your body has to be in a relatively good place. I do wish you the best of luck with your moving and I hope the stress eases off on you. Bananas are great in a milkshake btw! Homemade mm

Hmmm maybe I will try the banana in a milkshake ( vegan milkshake of course ) cause its the texture of the banana that I don't like, anyways yes I agree it was a good thing she found out about it sooner then later it was just really scary when she said possible tumor. but thank you both for you good wishes and I will keep everyone update.

Quick update

I had a GP meeting for a physical scheduled for the 15th but I found out that wont be happening because I recently just moved providences and since I am not on BCH and still on Alberta healthcare I can't get my physical done till I receive a BC healthcare card which I don't know how long will take. So another bump in my road but thankfully I go get my 2nd blood test done on Monday and it's clear so she can send in the paper work to get ok'ed for T!..Keeping my fingers crossed!
