Just a friendly reminder

Hey there everyone,

I have noticed recently that there have been several replies to a variety of topics in many of the forums that only mention how the "girls" here at Susan's either appreciate, support, understand the post etc... and seemingly excluding the men here at Susan's.  Now I realise and would hope that this is an innocent omission, but please do not forget that Susan's is a support site for ALL and includes both genders, and all those in our TG community.

Just a friendly reminder folks...

TY Steph, I know that it's a thrill to find other women like yourselves, but I do feel a pang of exclusion with that, even if it's understandable.

I wouldn't worry about it to much Steph,  Remember Dennis once saying that he wouldn't want to be treated any different then any other man?  Well think about it.  When you were younger and by some horrible mistake looked  and acted more like a boy.  When you went to a high school dance or out to the local hangouts did the girls come to you or did you have to go to them to hang out your lines on them?

I'm sure the guys know how to approach the gals when they got something they want to say.  I know Dennis does, thats why I keep my "brick" handy.

While I do think most of the conversations here can be gender neutral with no ill effects I confess I can't help but like the 'exclusive' girl talk stuff. Even so, there is that 'exclusive' guy talk stuff too...

I have enjoy and learned from the posting of the men here too.

I hated that.  I was never able to do that like other guys.  I always wondered how other guys were able to so easily go up and ask girls to dance. I figured I was just very shy.  But looking back at it, it's because I knew I held a terrible "secret" and felt inferior to everyone else.

Oh well, what's done is done and I'm just looking at my future.

The point I was trying to make is - For Example - that when new members are welcomed to Susan's that others here always refere to the other "girls" and not the other "members" THE girls are not the only members of Susan's...

I didn't mean to point any fingers so your appology wasn't needed hon.  But you've got a deal, I'll knock sense into you when needed, but you have to promise to do the same to me when I need it.  None of us are perfect...

Uh uh.  That is just how I felt.  After all these years, I'm still trying to shake that feeling.

Interesting, you know I don't recall ever feeling inferior... quite the opposite in fact. Or at least never acknowledge any such feelings of being inferior... because I'm not! Regardless though, I knew I was very shy ^wink. But yea, whatever. The past is dead and buried and too much of the memory remains.

But more to the point I totally missed Steph's point. ^{innocent look} An even more to the point... I agree.
