Hello all!  I am a newbie here and just wanted to introduce myself.  My therapist suggested this site for interaction and advice.  I'm a lifelong middle aged CD considering hormones and transition but want to be careful and weigh the risk/ benefit ratio (heart disease runs in my family).  Anyway, I look forward to interacting with you all and if there are any Middle TN/ Nashville area folks here, please contact me.

Welcome to Susan's Place. I would think with proper monitoring HRT should be safe. There might be some risk factors should you decide on surgery and as such you will want to be pretty careful about which surgeon you pick. Some are better able to handle people  with health issues. We have both transsexual and cross dresser form along with the non binary. Feel free to enter discussions in any form you wish. I often find an interesting title in the non transsexual area. As the result I am learning a good deal more about the different life styles. Let us know if there is anything we can help you with.
