Greetings and Salutations.

You may call me Zel. I'm almost 28 (I will be at the end of this month). I have no idea what I am... Seriously. For fourteen years, I've been struggling intermittently with bouts of feeling at home in my own skin then feeling like every part of it is wrong.

Some things I do know about myself: I know I like all genders equally, I am deathly afraid of surgery, and I don't know even a tiny fraction of everything. I need help figuring out who I am so I can finally learn to love myself. I hope this is the right place to search for answers.

Welcome to Susan's Place. You have come to the right place because pretty much all the gender variations are here. I was transsexual but the non binary are here in force as well. Fear of surgery isn't what decides your gender but what you feel is. Many of the people here will never have surgery for a number of reason and have found a happy lives. Feel free to ask any questions you have and we will attempt to answer them or at least ask you the right questions.

Thanks. There is a lot of misinformation and, more confusingly, contradictory information, out there on gender.

You might want to start by going to youtube and requesting "the transition channel". It will ask you a series of questions that will help you determine what you are or are not. The questions are right out of one of my therapy sessions so I know the information is accurate.
