Can gender dysphoria be worse in the morning and get better at night?  I wake up feeling like crap but it seems to get better in the evening.

Yes it can. There are so many things in the morning that can make it worse from getting dressed, to mirrors, to having to have the face and any body hair, clothing, the list goes on but you get the idea. Time a day didn't affect me, but as has been said many times everyone is affected differently. Hugs

I find that my dysphoria is also worse in the morning. In some of my dreams I am female and wake up to reality and this upsets me and causes heavy dysphoria. Also mirrors and clothes.I think it is the idea of being reminded about the reality that I am male outside and must live another day as a man.

Excuse me for living

Yes, my dysphoria is also worse in the morning and improves throughout the day, as you describe. I don't know why.

Typical me being different, lol.  I find mines worse in the evening when i have time to relax and think, in the morning i'm too busy( if i got up on time perhaps i wouldn't be, lol)

Mine is also worse in the morning. It gets better throughout the day as I get busy doing other things and then worsens again at night when I go to bed. I think it's worse when my mind is kind of idle or not very busy with other tasks that the dysphoria is at its worse. When my mind is occupied with some task like work, house chores, anything really, the dysphoria takes a back seat for a while.
