I'm am pre-HRT/ Closet/ 42yrs old
I had my yearly checkup last week and asked the doc to check my testosterone levels.
Results were : Total 411ng/dl (Range 250-1100); Free 65.4pg/dl (Range 35-155)
She didn't have them run my Estrogen numbers though. I guess I should have asked for that too. Next year I will ask for that for sure.
I haven't had a chance to talk to the doc again yet but based on the ranges and all the info on the net, those numbers are low for my age even though I know these aren't basement levels.
My sex drive is definitely not what it used to be, but I don't seem to be having any problems in that area when needed.
I really have to admit that I am happy about this. I have decided that if my doc asks, I will not accept testosterone replacement and tell her that is based on all the negative possibilities. The only thing I am worried about is if she thinks something is wrong that is causing it. I would hate to have the levels I had when I was younger. The dysphoria was much worse then.

I just wanted to share this with someone.

I'm very happy you're in a good place. It's all too often, to hear tales of woe. I love hearing uplifting posts, it makes my day! **hugs**  :D
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)
