Music is so important in this world. It calms the savage beast in us. It defines the mood of the evening. It carries messages. Music tells stories of all sorts.  I listen to it daily.  I have almost a 1000 vinyl records (and my stylis still works on my direct drive turntable), over a 100 cassettes, and hundreds of cd's.   Music is very important to me.  As you can see by my posts and my signature, i not only listen to it, but i live it also. Most of my communication is thru music. Now for the question at hand,  what would this world be like without music?  Here is a partial list of my favorite musicians.

Queen
Elton John
Eric Clapton
CSN&Y
Eagles
David Bowie
Beatles (all of them)
Buffalo Springfield
Byrds
Led Zepplin
Jimi Hendrix
Janis
Allman Bros.
Lynyrd Skynyrd
and the list goes on forever

My first two albums bought in 1967- Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane and Athem of the Sun by the Grateful Dead. I have come a long way since then.
