A 21-year-old transgender was shot dead outside of Maryland mall by a group of teenagers, police say. The victim was named by authorities as Zella Ziona. Police in Gaithersburg are searching for a group of teenagers in relation to the shooting which occurred at around 6 p.m. on October 15 at the Montgomery Village Crossing Shopping Center in Gaithersburg, Maryland. She was rushed to a nearby hospital and pronounced dead at 8:12 p.m.
