So I pretty much just now received a text from my mom telling me that she still loves me and that it doesn't change anything, but I know later we're going to talk about it when she gets home. Honestly, its the first time I truly smiled out of sincere happiness over something with my gender. Now I look back on the past week wondering why I stressed so much on making sure she read it and wondering how'd she respond. I just kinda can't believe it still. So I thank everyone on here who helped with my coming out letter and just being supportive. I truly appreciate it. ♥

Congratulations on a big step into a much wider world piralan!  I came out to my mom when I was a teen and it was scary for me, but liberating once done.  It certainly was a positive step in learning to accept myself.
