I used to play awhile back. I felt kind of betrayed because of so much promise it had but then it turned out to be buy this and that to access this. Has it really changed at all?

I played at launch. Not long after that I bought a house without realizing that internet wasn't available. I had it via LTE but it was expensive so I couldn't play. A year later we got Comcast in the area. I tried to play, but I ended up getting locked out. I haven't attempted since.

I have played off and on sense release but despite being a big star wars fan I can't really love it, its just too much like a slow, overly buggy World of Warcraft, like they trapped wow during burning crusade dumped a ton of code into it to slow it down and threw a new paint job on the classes, shaman...no no sith sorcerer.

Ohh and I am still a bit bitter about being promised same sex romance and they still haven't delivered.
What is a Lie when it's at home? Anyone?
Is it the depressed little voice inside? Whispering in my ear? Telling me to give up?
Well I'm not giving up. Not for that part of me that hates myself. That part wants me to wither and die. not for you. Never for you.  --Loki: Agent of Asgard

I honestly feel like it would have been a better game if it had been single player. I loved the story for my character. I didn't get to the end, but I was close.

I played for a while because some friends wanted to. The problem was that they would blow through missions without really paying attention to them and I prefer to know what's going on. I'm very story oriented. I also didn't like that it felt that FtP players seemed like less than second class citizens and I just couldn't afford a subscription.
April 22, 2015, the day of my first face to face pass in gender neutral clothes and no makeup. It may be months to the next one, but I'm good with that!

Being transgender is just a phase. It hardly ever starts before conception and always ends promptly at death.

I played for a little while a couple months after release. I mostly played with a couple of friends, and when we all finished the story we kind of just gave up on it. I have a few characters I've created, but I haven't touched the game in probably more than a year. I did like the idea of virtual dice rolls to see whose dialogue won out when multiple people were playing together. If they ever ported it to consoles, which I doubt they ever would, I might pick it up again.

Aww, that sucks. I must admit, I bought a subscription, but only because I REALLY wanted (needed) a Twi'lek character. My lgbtq friends from Germany got me into it, and I'm addicted. I must whole-heartedly agree with all of you that the "play to win" mentality of a lot of these RPG games is total rubbish and unfair for people who can't afford subscriptions. Well, if you ever do get a chance to play, I'm AuralHexx on the German servers (and since the game itself is free-to-play/download now)

I started playing it around 2013, probably mid 2013. Anyways, only really used my free month that came with the game, where I rushed my character to max level then haven't had the motivation to sub again. Stopped playing late 2014 when my guild slowly died out and my only friends quit the game...

Probably will eventually go back as they add more end game content, really want to play a Jedi Sage.. By eventually, it most likely means I will be installing the game tomorrow....

Though, very likely to change servers, my server has a horrible economy, and the Empire players are annoying about 90% of the time(of course the faction that I expected to be mature).

I have an account and loved the story driven aspect of the different classes more than the MMORPG aspect.

I played it when it launched with a few guys from work that were WoW veterns, and they just space barred through all the story and then quit before finishing their class. I continued to play but couldn't find a guild I felt a part of and playing alone got a bit boring so I've put it on the back shelf.

Every once in awhile when I need a Star Wars fix, I re-sub for a month and work on some of my character class stories.

I'm on the Harbinger (west coast server).

If you ever want a quest partner, or to just hack n' slash for fun, I'm Nabrina-Secura on the same server (Harbinger) :D

I actually really enjoy SWTOR, especially since I loved KotOR 1 & 2. I currently let my membership expire due to being too busy to play, but I plan to resub soon. May the force be with you! ;)
