So I have an OKCupid these days. I've met a really, really AWESOME (cis het) dude on there. We went out and skated once. I like him. He teaches college philosophy (at age 27! gasp!), so he's often busy with that.
I spend a lot of time, because I think OKCupid gives the same sort of dopamine rush as crack.
For those who don't know, you're matched up with people based on compatibility from questions you've answered. One of the many, many questions one can answer, is "Would you date a transgender person?"
Some people actually answer no to this! Like, I get that some people wouldn't, but I still read that, and I'm like, "Oh my Gonz, what a horrible person!" And most of those people list it as "unacceptable" for the other person to be okay with dating a trans person.
As an aside, I tend to have a 90+% match with just about every other trans person.
