stp questions

I have wanted to buy an stp but before spending 300 $ had some questions.  My ex had told me not to get one because if you used it it would be 'dirty' in your pants all day and you'll get issues down there.  I've never been able to find info.  Does that happen?  Will it make you smell if its in your pants all day if you can't wash it till you get home?  I haven't had any issues using the stall but it still makes me nervous everytime. I rather use an stp in public than be stressed about sitting.

Crotches will smell at some point without packer or anything as well. So in that sence I've never had a problem. My stp as started to retain some smell, this is mostly from sweat and not from urine. If I sit to pee halfway throughout the day I will smell it. But as long as I don't drop my pants it's fine.

I wash it with soap and water every evening and boil it once in a while to sterilize (note, you can't boil every stp, you might ruin some with it)
