It *can* cost more than that, but for some reason I see this $100K figure tossed around a lot as what it WILL cost. Sure, if you do every single thing on the "menu" this article refers to... but that's hardly mandatory. These sorts of stories can be terrifying to someone who doesn't have $100K lying around and desperately needs to transition!

(My estimate is that transition overall cost me about $30K, with $20K of that being GRS.)
