Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Matt.

I've never really felt comfortable with myself or my body, and I've just started to discover why (beginning the path, finding a gender therapist).

But I just wanted to say Hi.

Welcome to Susan's Place. There should be plenty of people for you to talk with and plenty of information to answer your questions. There are many people farther along the path than you are but they are willing to share what they have learned. Feel free to ask any questions you have snd somebody should be able to give you an answer.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Good luck Matt.  You and I are at about the same point in this process.  I contacted a therapist today for the first time.

Just remember, you are not alone there are others in similar situations.  I know we are all taught that "we are unique" but in some ways that may not be 100% accurate.  The support and comments from others gave me the strength and courage to come out to my wife.  Stick around, post questions and read other people's stories, it helped me.

Hi Matt,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Looks like you're off to a flying start. Good for you. Keep up the awesome work you're doing. The more you put in, the more you gain.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Speak to you as soon as I put the kids to bed

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
