Anyone familiar with the Howard Brown Clinic in Chicago

My therapist suggested going to the Howard  Brown Clinic because of the location and specific Transgender care. So I've got an appointment in two weeks. Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Hi Stephaniec

I started HRT at Howard Brown about 6 months ago. I've been very happy with them.
There is an "L" station just a couple of blocks south of the clinic and plenty of cabs right on the corner at Irving Park.

I always take the train in from the NW burbs and then cab it up to HB.

Everyone there has been very friendly and professional. I've had early morning (9-10am) appointments and have gotten in ahead of or right on my scheduled time. I have another appointment for a check up and blood work 2nd week of Dec.
I think you will like them.

I've been going to Howard Brown Medical Center on Sheridan Rd for 15 months now.  I recommend them.

thanks everyone, I just got my paper work transferred yesterday to Howard Brown. I used to work in that neighborhood and kind of figured given the community that they treated everyone good.

Best wishes.  I just started there last week at the Aris facility, I was really impressed with their people, very welcoming. My APN has been great to work with so far.

I go to the aris clinic of howard browns love it their its 4 hours each way for me to go their.. Always nice  Kathryn Morrison is my doc shes awesome
