Dr. Zukowski practically doesnt have side-profile results on his website.. there are literally just a few side-profile photos out of all his patients. Which is for a reason. The three result I posted above are from dr. Mayer. They use the same technique, and both do very best they can with this technique. Their forehead results are practically the same. This technique (shaving plus filling with bone-paste) can work good enough on some patients. But the truth is, type3 reconstruction will give better, and more naturally feminine result on almost all patients. Its not just about making everything smooth or flat. Different shapes of forehead works different on different patients. A surgeon who can do both techniques well (well is very important here) has the opportunity to do very drastic change and set-back of not only "bossing" but whole lower third of forehead (or half). Or he can do less drastic change.. or he can do just a very subtle change that can be done with shaving technique. He can therefore do different things, more or less aggressive, depending on a facial balance as a whole, and not being limited by having to work with just one technique. Im not saying that with this simpler technique its not possible to make a perfect result on some patients. But for majority the "type3" technique will give superior result (in the hands of the right surgeons.. not everybody who does it is able to give the same results).
