Hey ladies!

I know it is completely different for everyone of us but what is the basic timeline for development while on HRT? I'm sure this has been asked time and time again but I am very curious to hear about your experience. I have been on Estrogen for a month and a half now. Though my T levels were extremely low for medical reasons I never expected to develop so fast. Within 2 weeks my skin was softer, face and body. 3 weeks my girls started to develop and are developing so quickly it's amazing. Is this normal? What was your timeline?

Hi Amanda, welcome to the forum.  Here's a thread with timelines I compiled from medical journals:

Your results may vary depending on age, genetics, dosage etc. :)

I didn't experience much until after my GRS and then it was only breast tissue, loss of body hair, and softer skin. Libido none. Redistribution of body fat none.

The biggest changes I experienced were due to weight loss, growing my hair out, electrolysis, and attitude. I can attribute very little to estrogens. In fact, I haven't taken them for 12 years now due to diabetes complications. My hair has thinned a bit but I always had a mop so there is little to worry about there. I have early onset osteoporosis due to lack of hormones. So, keep taking them at least until you reach a proper menopausal age. And then have a heart to heart with your endocrinologist. Mine says no. I'm seeking another opinion. I have beat diabetes with a vegan diet.
