This wasn't really a surprise, but I was really encouraged by how much I now need the support of a bra, and pads to absorb discharges!
On the Sunday, I spent a long time relaxing with my electric breast pumps gently plonking away on my nipples, trying to encourage lactation ( I have had a few milky drips!).
By Sunday evening, I was very sore, but still dry, so I slipped a couple of plastic nipple shields into my bra, to prevent my hard won perky nipples being pushed flat by the cups.
On the Monday, I had a meeting which I could not attend en femme or even with the risk of a bra strap being seen.
So I dressed normally, ripped off the bra and nipple petals and had to run for the train.
Wow, was this a revelation! I bounced and wobbled alarmingly, and I even developed a damp patch around each nipple (which showed through my shirt).
I think this was perspiration, not milk, but I would actually have been more comfortable in a modest nude bra with absorbent pads in the cups.
