so just curious, I have a first appointment with a renowned transgender clinic. Just a silly poll to help me decide which dress I should wear. The clinic is in the Heart of Boys Town Chicago so I'll be walking around a lot of LGBT people and I'll probably end up in a bar afterwards so any suggestions would be helpful.

I was thinking of doing that but I only  have my cam on the computer and it would of only got a small part of the dress plus it would of been a chore compared to just the color. They are all designed basically the same. The only one different is the black dress. they all flare out at the waist accept the black goes straight to just above the knees. Some day I'll get an IPhone so I can take pictures and transfer to the computer.

Go with what feels right at the time. Locking yourself to an option now doesn't feel right. Let the moment decided. Hugs

Stephanie:
Wear your favorite dress
That way you would feel comfortable in

Ps: welcome to Chicago I lived all my life in Chicago or the Western suburbs.

If you are thinking about joining a club. The Chicago Gender Society(CGS) is a very good one

They meet once a month on Tuesday and they also have other activities to.

They are on the internet.

Have a lovely day

Maybe the pink or the black. Maybe the pink with maroon fishnet stockings or maybe the black with a pearl neckless and fishnet stockings. The black is my favorite , but the pink is close. I could get a purple scarf for the pink dress. God this is tormenting . I wish I could lose 20 pounds by then. I feel like I'm going on a date.

I like the first one: pink?

It brings up your skin and hair tone nicely.

Yea, I'm inching towards that one, with that one I can hide my tummy better because it flares out at the hips. It's brighter too. I'm going into " The Neighborhood " for the first time as me so I should be more brighter. It's fits the best out all of them. All though the black with the fishnet stockings is pretty cool.

For an evening out, you can never go wrong with the Little Black Dress.  :)
At what point did my life go Looney Tunes? How did it happen? Who's to blame?... Batman, that's who. Batman! It's always been Batman! Ruining my life, spoiling my fun! >:-)

skinny jeans, sandals or boots, no heels, black top, and maybe an open white shirt and a cardigan or a jacket, a cute bag, can't fail.

I dress up like a nun though so I might be no help in this department. I like it when ppl DONT look at me. lol.

Plus one on this if you want to blend - or choose other options if you want to stand out more... but this is definitely what I would choose even now, 30+ years later.

(Amusing aside - times have thankfully changed since the day when I was thrown out of a gender clinic for turning up in jeans... back in 1976 apparently no uk transwoman was supposed to ever wear anything other than a frilly dress... naturally I refused, which is how I ended up totally bypassing the system. I donesnt matter now... I got there anyway.)

thanks for the reply's, I'm really fond of dresses. I wear skinny jeans a lot because their so comfortable. I usually wear one of those dresses when I go to my therapist appointment I think because its right smack in the center of Boys Town I'll go with a dress I'll see if the Boys notice me.

Well, I think I'm going with the Pink dress with maroon fishnet stockings and patent beige flats or I just go out and buy a new dress that's not off the clearance rack.
