how Does that work? I'm 120lbs n men are naturally smaller than women like a 120lb woman is bigger than a 120 lb man so am I just goin to gain fat without hav to eat more or Wat?

Basically yes, keep eating normally and you're going to start packing it on your hips, thighs, Booty, Breasts and upper arms...

Testosterone fuels muscle growth. Muscle is more dense and weighs more than fat. It also burns calories before they can become fat.

Once you remove the testosterone (which supercharged muscle growth), you will fuel less muscle. Muscle fibers will inherently break down and reach a slightly lower mass with the same amount of physical training. The decrease in muscle mass will burn less calories and your excess will be fat. Since fat is less dense than muscle, for the same weight (120 to 120) your body dimensions will increase based on the map estrogen provides the body.

Less muscle, slower metabolism, less testosterone advantage, means you're going to work harder to keep from "Packing on the pounds" for a given diet.

I don't hav any issues with losing weight. I somehow stay 120 lbs without gaining or losing. How can u lose fat in the arms n not gain it cause I hav pretty toned arms n the top of them spreads like no other when I hold them to my side. Like I always see these transgenders with arms that are skinny n just go straight down n that's wat I want.

I think that's just luck of the draw... my arms have always been that way. Even when I was heavy into weight training. I just got bigger veins... like giant veins! And they jumped out of my skin... Now I get something like this for arms when working out and heavy weight training.

I guess I can live with thick arms, but they are goin to smooth out right? Like be less toned cause I don't work out my arms, they r just naturally toned.

Yuppers... less lifting less definition. Less visible muscles/tendons.

I'm obviously older than you two ladies... :)

I will say that I have not really lost OR gained in right at a year on HRT.

It really just is slowly redistributing and going places where I don't want it to go.

Great - less belly fat..... what the )(*#@)$(* I have this junk on my thighs and batwings on arms.

My wife who is the same age is me said "be careful what you wish for.... you just might get it. & you have to take the bad with the good - the whole package"

I'm not far behind you Wendy Ann. I try to kill myself in the gym to keep tone... tone isn't as easy to keep as it once was. I'm feeling my years of experience... lol!

I didn't start seeing any weight fluctuations till about 6 months ago, now it seems everything I eat goes straight to my ass.  In would disagree with the ops premise that girls are bigger then boys. There are 2 many factors to make a general comparison.  Eventually you will begin to collect fat in predominantly female areas as opposed to male areas.  You can be aseen big and buff, or as slender and waify as you like, it just depends on how much effort you want to put into your physical appearance.  Me I just want that booty shake :)

so I'm goin to stay the same size n hav to gain weight to make my hips wider?

Your hips will widen over time, but not as much as a cis, person due to hip bones being vertical and closed.  But to give you an idea, when I started, I am 5ft6in, I weighed 135lbs, my measures where 34, 29, 30, the male v.  31 months later I still weigh around 135, my measures are now 34, 28, 36

My measures right now pre hormones are 32-27-34

You will be fine then my dear, I think you will probably be looking at 34 26 36/37 after a couple maybe 2 years

Some gain after HRT, some lose. I definitely slimmed down overall after 3 years on HRT mainly due to the muscle mass loss and even having a hard time gaining weight. I was heaviest at 150 as male, but now 129 and struggling to put pounds back on, no matter how much I eat.
