I live in DC, and I am fortunate enough to get LOGO TV on Comcast.
While the channel is largely focused on Gay and Lesbian issues, they do cover quite a bit of transgender territory as well.
They had a non-op TS comedian on one of thier comedy programs I caught, and some other trans stuff on the channel from what I could tell (including playing movies with transgender characters).
I highly suggest if you get comcast to see if you have this channel. It is worth watching.
