If you're not a U.S. federal employee there's nothing to see here...but if you are, I could really use some advice.
Starting with the current open season, Federal employee health plans can no longer have a blanket exclusion against covering transgender health-related costs. That's a step in the right direction, but it's far from actually providing coverage. For example, some of the larger providers specifically exclude coverage of GCS.
Here's my question: which of the federal employee health plans are most trans-friendly and most likely to at least partially cover costs of FFS, hormones, voice therapy, and the like? Thanks!
