HT started today....

I feel like I've been reborn!! I'm so happy and the doctor was wonderful and saw that I was nervous and anxious so really made an attempt to relax me and make me feel at home. Im on low dose estradiol twice a day and spiro also twice a day. She expects that to increase soon! Im very emotional about it all as it's a day i thought I'd never see until very recently. I will keep you all posted on my progress .....

haha    .   I understand now what my moms was referring to when she mentionned about mammography pain .   I really dont want those squeezed  they hurt so much just to the touch.  You will soon understand too i guess  ;p

 Well that's 24 hours and no boobies!!...lol.... Feeling wonderful today and very relaxed which is all probably mental at the relief of finally being on HT. I have felt a sensation going through my body several times now. It starts at my head and works it's way down until i can feel it all over. Its almost a cleansing feeling and has lasted for 15-20 minutes each time.... Very comforting...

Okay the new girl in E class has a question.....i noticed  after starting hormones that my pee had a strong unusual smell last night and it's the same today...has anyone else experienced this or know what it is??

I'm about at the 6 month mark of estrogen and about 10 months on T-blockers.

(Do i say i started HRT in june or Feb ?, i have no idea)

The latter i think dehydrate you and that changes the color/smell of urine. The former i have noticed seems to have shrunk my bladder size, i stay pretty well hydrated now but i pee all the time. I don't believe i have noticed anything else from the estrogen pee wise.

LOL actually I'm pretty sure I know the feeling!

As for the pee I haven't noticed anything different with mine at all. You haven't had anything different to drink by chance have you?

I think the pee thing was dehydration.....loving every second of HT so far....
