I was born intersexed. I may not have found out until later- but when I did, it actually made my life better. I knew why I was so different, and I celebrated it.
It should be a child's choice to have surgery of that magnitude. Life shouldn't be about conforming to what everyone else wants. It's about finding your own happiness based on who you are and how you feel about yourself and the world around you. No on has any right to touch a child or anyone else without consent.
I know several intersexed person, and they all love who they are and several just wished to be left alone to grow as themselves. I happen to find them all attractive- whether they were "fixed" or not.
