I'm very curious on what certain foods everyone craves while on HRT? What's the most common?

Let me know if there's another thread so i can read Cravings.. :) #InTheMood

Annd last night I ate like a whole box of Jingles. I was impressed with myself.  :(

I just had eggs and covered them in hot sauce. I'm going to the store and stocking up on pickles and hot sauce.

I've been eating everything, literally everything.  I can't stop eating.  I've gained about 20 lbs in 7 months.  It was by intention.  I started out really thin and wanted to pack on about that much weight after starting, but I've also been wanting to cycle and have been meaning to drop about 10 and then put it back on again etc.  The only problem is, I can't stop eating at this point.  I keep telling myself "today is the last day I'm going to eat like this," but then the next day I'll delay in for another, and so on and so forth.  Overall I'd say putting the weight on has been good for me; I'm still thin, but I really want to start cycling my weight.  The cravings have been pretty ridiculous though.  I've found salty foods are what I'm going after most.  I've been eating a lot of pickles and was on a pretty big beef jerky run, although I ended that.  I don't even really like beef jerky, so it was odd that I was craving it so often.  Anyway, like I said, I've been craving anything edible really, but especially salty items.

Salty stuff: Pickles, Olives, Cheeses, salsa. Tomatoes, Celery on the veggie side (i believe those are also pretty salty as fresh stuff goes) Those awesome wasabi peas. Cole slaw. i could eat that everyday

Seems like pickles and chocolate are number one. After reading all the pickles, pickles, and olives makes me watch to eat all of it. Lol

Eating a cheese quesadilla right now, wishing I had green olives.

Ramen, ramen, ramen, and more ramen. Anything Japanese actually. French cheese, olives, silverskin pickled onions. Oh, and bread.

I learned my lesson today don't go shopping craving. Ended up with a bag full of pickles and olives.

Somehow pickles dipped in blue cheese dressing is my new favorite food!

Salt, the spiro is full of potasium and your body craves salt to counter it, I can and do sometimes buy a jar of pickles on my break at work and eat the whole thing, then again I loved pickles before HRT so its mostly compounded.

Unbelievable;
Branston Pickle and Danish Blue Cheese, plus Dark Chocolate. Just crazy. Obviously not together.
I just bought a big box of Lindt hand made chocolate selection. Terribly bad for me, but the cravings!!!!

I didnt notice any changes to my food cravings or preferences, but did notice that my sense of smell and taste buds seemed much stronger after starting hormones.  Maybe that indirectly effected my eating patterns, though I can't think of anything at the top of my head.

I found I crave chocolate more but I made it hard on myself by going vegan, so now it's dark chocolate only, and even then only certain ones!

Chocolate yeah, but particularly at certain points in my cycle, then the craving fades. But while I have it, I eat dark chocolate and get mocha coffee. I also definitely get salt cravings at various times because of the spiro. Jumbo jalapeno-stuffed olives are amazing. ;D And also depending on where I am in my cycle I might be craving some c**k or some p***y.

Hmmm, first time it was chocolate...and more chocolate, like chocolate covered chocolate!  That started a few weeks in and lasted a few months after stopping.  I liked the taste of it ever after, but it dropped out of 'craving' status and ended up just being a pleasant flavor.

Fast forward to the present and it is back.  M&M's, chocolate covered almonds and plain old bars.  It is bad enough that I have had to remove it from my home or I find myself snacking on it and that is simply no good for me.

I did find that a few months after stopping HRT way back, my 'sweet-tooth' seemed to go away and spicy tart foods started to taste really good.  I do not think that HRT changed my taste buds any, just my perceptions of taste.
